Welcome to Room 5
Welcome to Second Grade! My name is Patty Ranonis and I will be your child's teacher. I have been teaching for 8 years. I am so excited to say that this is my 7th year at Eisenberg! I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Wilmington University. I also have a certification in Special Education. I have taught 5th grade, 4th grade, 1st grade and 2nd grade. .
Your students are important to me. I want you to know my teaching philosophy. I will work to build strong self-esteem in every child who enters my room by focusing on the strengths of each child and striving to improve their weaknesses. I respect every student. Your child will have the opportunity to build a thirst for knowledge while working in a productive, child-centered academic environment.
We are team in the educational process. Therefore, please call me at school (429-4047, ext. 1008), or email me ([email protected]) whenever you have a question or concern. I will also send homework books home Monday through Friday. Feel free to write me a note whenever the need arises. I look forward to meeting you at the Open House on September 9th. I am sure we will have an exciting and successful academic year.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Patty Ranonis
